About this festival
Open Beatz Festival 2026 takes place in Herzogenaurach near Nuremberg from 24 to 26 July. This three-day open-air festival is dedicated to electronic music, set across a 50-hectare festival world between woodland and meadows. Eight stages shape the programme, with more than 200 artists representing a wide range of electronic sounds. Its natural setting and short distances give the summer weekend its character.
Camping is an integral part of the experience, providing accommodation right at the heart of the festival. Alongside the music, the site features leisure activities and a range of service areas. Open Beatz is aimed at visitors looking for a large-scale EDM festival in the Nuremberg area. The open-air event combines international DJ culture with a multi-day stay in nature, bringing the 2026 edition together as a shared weekend experience from Friday to Sunday.

Questions & answers
How do I get to the festival?
Open Beatz Festival 2026 takes place at Puschendorferstraße 2, 91074 Herzogenaurach near Nuremberg. You can travel by car, bus, train, taxi or bicycle. If travelling by car, follow the signposted approach via the village of Höfen. The festival site is around a two-kilometre walk from Puschendorf station. Express shuttles from Erlangen, Fürth and Nuremberg are also available. A Kiss & Ride zone is located directly in front of the car park entrance.
Is parking available?
Parking fees can only be paid by EC or credit card; cash payments are no longer accepted. Day Parking costs 20 euros, while Weekend Parking costs 30 euros. Once payment has been made, each vehicle receives a parking ticket, which must be displayed visibly behind the windscreen. Car Camping ticket holders do not pay a parking fee. Overnight stays in vehicles in the car park are strictly prohibited.
How old do I need to be to get in?
Entry to Open Beatz Festival is strictly for adults aged 18 or over. Young people aged 16 and 17 may attend with an adult who must not be under the influence of alcohol and must remain close to the young person throughout the festival. A separate supervision form must be completed and handed in at check-in for each festival day. Children are not permitted anywhere at the festival.
Will there be tickets available at the box office?
There will be no on-site box office. All tickets can only be purchased online via the ticket shop. If tickets have not sold out before the festival, they can still be bought online via the ticket shop on the day of the festival, but at a higher price.
How do I pay on site?
All payments across the festival site are cashless and made using the RFID chip on your festival wristband. Credit can be added before the festival via the app or event portal. On site, there is a staffed cash top-up station at check-in, as well as self-service terminals for EC cards in the infield and campsite. Payment methods available in the ticket shop include Klarna instalments, Klarna invoice, Klarna Sofort, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay) and SEPA bank transfer.
What can I bring, and what is prohibited?
The following are prohibited in the infield: drugs; backpacks, except bum bags and festival bags roughly A4 size; your own food and drinks; pyrotechnics; laser pointers; animals; umbrellas; glass containers; weapons; drones; and professional photography equipment. Glass bottles, open fires, large sound systems, spirits with an alcohol content of 15 per cent or more, and beer kegs larger than five litres are not permitted on the campsite. Exception: medication is allowed with proof.
What happens in bad weather?
In the event of a dangerous situation such as severe weather, the site may be evacuated. Visitors will be informed via the PA system and should follow the instructions of security staff. In severe weather, guests should go to the car park and sit in their vehicle. Switching on the hazard warning lights signals that there is still space in the vehicle.
Is the site accessible?
Disabled people who require a companion receive a free Weekend Ticket for themselves. The companion is not free. Please email proof to ticket@openbeatz.de by 15 July.
