BRENNAN HEART

Brennan Heart is the artist name of Fabian Bohn, a Dutch DJ and producer who has made Hardstyle his musical home. His work extends far beyond the decks: he produces his own tracks, writes festival anthems and, with I AM HARDSTYLE, creates a platform for the scene.

Bohn discovered his passion for electronic music at the age of 14 and went on to teach himself studio engineering and production. In 2002, he teamed up with Pieter Heijnen, aka DJ Thera, as Brennan & Heart. The pair went their separate ways in 2005, and Bohn continued as Brennan Heart. Under the Scantraxx umbrella, he founded the M!D!FY sublabel with Dov Elkabas in 2006; this was later followed by his own label, Brennan Heart Music, which became WE R Music.

His first solo album, Musical Impressions, was released in 2009, while his festival anthems have been heard at Defqon.1, Decibel and Qlimax, among others. His collaboration with Wildstylez, Lose My Mind, was released in 2012 and achieved gold status in the Netherlands. Imaginary with Jonathan Mendelsohn was also recognised there, reaching platinum status.

Alongside Hardstyle, Bohn has worked with Techno, Hardtrance and Techtrance; under the alias Blademasterz, he puts Early Hardstyle centre stage. From Qlimax and Defqon.1 to Tomorrowland, he brings this long history of electronic music to international festival audiences. There is no sign of standing still: alongside new releases, international performances remain on his touring schedule.
