KLAUDIA GAWLAS

Klaudia Gawlas is a German techno DJ and producer whose music delivers pressure without losing its feel for the dancefloor. Her sets pair driving rhythms with emotional arcs and an energy capable of carrying even the biggest stages.

Born in Cieszyn, Poland, she moved to Passau with her family in 1990. She explored keyboards, guitar and electronic sounds from an early age before learning to DJ during a year in the USA. Back in Germany, she began playing vinyl and found her musical language in techno. A DJ competition earned her a slot at Ruhr in Love; after her first appearance there in 2008, further festival bookings followed.

Her debut album, „Zeitgeist“, was released in 2013 on Eric Sneos' label Masters of Disaster. That same year, „Papillon“ became a defining release in her career and helped establish her internationally. Appearances at Time Warp, Mayday, Nature One and Awakenings showed just how far her music had taken her. She later made another mark on her career with „The Siren“ on Joseph Capriati's label Redimension.

Today, she runs Illusion Recordings, her own platform for her vision of uncompromising techno. On the festival stage, that means intense rhythms, carefully built tension and a sound that seeks a connection with the crowd.
