JOHANNES SCHUSTER

Johannes Schuster is a DJ and techno producer who sees pressure and emotion not as opposites, but as part of the same sound. His sets pair driving rave rhythms with emotional soundscapes, sharp acid lines and old-school grooves.

His story began with vinyl: by the age of 15, he was already collecting and playing records in his home city of Cologne. As a resident at Unreal and 303, he developed a feel for sets that shift between dark intensity and brighter moments. Alongside performances around the world, he releases his own productions on his label 7E6D and other labels.

A defining moment was his first Boiler Room set, recorded in Cologne, where he brought together acid, hard techno, hard groove and trance. He also mixed several of his own unreleased tracks into the selection, giving the performance a personal touch.

For Schuster, techno is not black and white, but a play of different styles and emotions. On stage, that means a dynamic journey through hard-hitting passages, buoyant rhythms and melodic moments, leaving the crowd room to move and feel.
