About this festival

Aquasella Festival celebrates three decades of electronic music with its 30th edition, taking place from 12 to 15 August 2027. Held at Valle de la Música, a meadow on the outskirts of Arriondas in the northern Spanish region of Asturias near Cangas de Onís, the event has brought techno and other electronic styles to northern Spain’s mountains since 1997. Presented by La Real Producciones, it is regarded as the region’s electronic music festival. The open-air site sits in a valley surrounded by nature, so warm clothing is recommended for the cool August nights.

Early-bird passes for the anniversary edition have already sold out, with further passes available via the official festival website. The edition’s named line-up will be announced gradually. Arriondas can be reached by car, on official ALSA bus services from Madrid, Barcelona and Bilbao, or via the nearby airports of Avilés, Santander and Bilbao.

Camping

A Zona de Descanso (camping area) is planned for Aquasella 2027. The separate add-on ticket will be available later and cannot currently be booked.

Questions & answers

How do I get to the festival?

Aquasella 2027 takes place at Valle de la Música in Arriondas. The site address is Praú El Merediz, 33540 Arriondas, Asturias, with the coordinates 43°17'17" N, 5°11'42" W.

By car, the journey takes around 4.5 hours from Madrid via the A-6 and N-601, approximately 7 hours and 15 minutes from Barcelona via the A-2, A-23 and N-260, and roughly 2.5 hours from Bilbao via the A-8 and N-601. Bus travellers can use ALSA services from Madrid, Barcelona and Bilbao, which stop directly in Arriondas; timetables are coordinated with the festival.

For long-distance travellers, Avilés and Santander airports are both around an hour away by car via the A-8, while Bilbao Airport is approximately 1.5 hours away.

What happens in bad weather?

For August in Asturias, the organisers expect daytime temperatures of 18 to 25°C. Nights are considerably cooler at around 12 to 16°C, so warm clothing is recommended for the evening. Rain is considered unlikely. Nature and fresh air define the mountainous Valle de la Música around Arriondas, set against the Asturian landscape.
