Klofama

Behind KLOFAMA is Mats van Biljouw, a Dutch DJ and producer whose hard techno is built for speed and impact. His sets drive forward with hard kicks, rapid hi-hats and melodies, giving the dancefloor no room to catch its breath.

It began in his bedroom in Horst, in the Dutch province of Limburg, where he played his first tracks to friends. Those early beginnings led to releases on Innergate Records, Falsive Records and Altruism Records.

He has since performed at Blackworks, Verknipt, Rotterdam Rave and Teletech, as well as at the Johan Cruijff ArenA. Several sold-out all-night-long shows in the Netherlands and abroad show that he can carry a crowd alone for an entire night. His rapid rise is documented in the still-in-production film “I AM: KLOFAMA”, which follows him between major stages, hotel rooms and his parents’ home in Horst.

Musically, he stays with an unrelenting pulse of around 160 BPM, intensified through quick transitions and industrial textures. Whether on a festival stage or in a dark warehouse, KLOFAMA builds his sets for a dancefloor that keeps moving.
