About this festival
Fairground Festival 2026 takes place on 28 November 2026 at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds. Northern Germany’s largest indoor electronic music event opens across Halls 2, 3 and 4, with several stages. Its programme spans techno, house and harder styles across three curated areas: the Techno Stage, the Mainstage and the Harder Styles Area. The event begins in the evening and continues into the night.
The festival combines international and national DJs with large-scale production across the halls, and is aimed at an adult audience. The exhibition grounds are centrally located in Hannover and can be reached by public transport. Tickets are available via the official festival website. Fairground brings electronic club culture to late autumn and fills a gap in Northern Germany’s indoor festival offering.

How do I get to the festival?
The festival takes place at Messe Nord in Hanover. Detailed travel information for getting to and from the festival is available on the festival website.
How old do I need to be to get in?
No entry for anyone under 18, even when accompanied by an adult.
Will there be tickets available at the door?
There will be no traditional box office. However, tickets can be purchased online until shortly before the festival begins, subject to availability.
How do I pay on site?
Fairground Festival is entirely cashless. All payments on the festival site are made conveniently using your festival wristband. Lockers are paid for separately, either online or directly at the Locker Desk.
What can I bring, and what is prohibited?
Bags larger than DIN A4, selfie sticks, markers and felt-tip pens, food and drinks, weapons of any kind, illegal drugs, professional photography and filming equipment, and pyrotechnic materials are not permitted. Bringing your own food and drinks is prohibited throughout the festival site.
Is the site accessible?
The festival site is fully accessible, including wheelchair-accessible toilets. Companions of severely disabled people (with proof) receive free admission.
Can I leave the site and return later?
No, re-entry is not possible after leaving the event at Messe Hannover for organisational reasons.
