Mika Heggemann

Mika Heggemann is a Berlin-based DJ and producer who blends techno’s energy with trance euphoria. His music is built for pace and momentum, without losing sight of the emotional pull of big melodies.

Before turning to electronic music, he worked as a studio assistant on band recordings and taught himself the craft of sound. Heggemann became Mika Heggemann in early 2025, while also helping to build a space for his music through the Polyamor Berlin collective and label. He is also involved with the Berlin Dance Music Event, where his interest in electronic music extends beyond the DJ booth.

Releases including „Vibrations“ and „Millenium Bitch“ drew attention to his sound. A collaboration with Part Time Killer was released on Teletech, while his performances have taken him to Teletech Festival, Berlin’s Watergate and Mondo Disko, among others. Support from the Berlin Dance Music Event provided a further boost: Heggemann described it as the point at which he was able to work independently.

Today, he calls his approach Nu Trance: a fast, emotionally charged mix of trance euphoria, techno edge and hard-house attitude. Euphoric builds, forceful drops and distinctive vocals give his sets their forward drive. On stage, he works towards those moments when beat and crowd gather pace together.
