KALTE LIEBE

Kalte Liebe are a Berlin-based production duo who combine punk’s raw energy with the force of electronic club music. Andi and Eugen draw on post-punk, dark wave, EBM and techno without losing the melancholy at the heart of their sound.

The pair met in Regensburg, where they shared a passion for rave culture. When they began making music together in 2019, all they had was a drum machine, a bass synthesiser and a microphone in a twelve-square-metre room. Their first track was called „Betäubte Triebe“ – Kalte Liebe, originally intended as its title, became the project’s name.

With „Schall & Schweiß“, the duo showed how their dark sonic world can work both for focused listening and club nights. Appearances at ADE, MELT and Rheingrün, as well as Fusion and Boiler Room, brought their music to a wider audience. In 2025, Kalte Liebe released the collaborative track „Always On My Mind“ with CAIVA.

Today, analogue, bass-heavy sounds and raw, distorted vocals drive their blend of EBM, dark wave and techno. Live, the duo focus on immediate energy: between propulsive rhythms and cool melancholy, their sound takes on a physical force of its own.
