About this festival
Electrisize Festival 2026 takes place from 7 to 9 August at Haus Hohenbusch in Erkelenz, North Rhine-Westphalia. Held in the Düsseldorf area, this multi-day electronic music festival offers both the festival programme and a dedicated camping option. For its 17th edition, the organiser has announced several festival areas and a line-up of electronic music acts. The official information page lists three festival days, starting on Friday 7 August.
The grounds at Haus Hohenbusch provide the setting for the open-air event. Camping is available separately from festival tickets, allowing visitors to plan either a day visit or a full weekend. How do I get to the festival?
Electrisize Festival 2026 takes place on the grounds of Kloster Hohenbusch in Erkelenz. Enter Haus Hohenbusch, 41812 Erkelenz into your sat nav. A shuttle bus runs regularly between Erkelenz station and the festival site. Shuttle tickets cost €5 for a day ticket or €9 for the full festival weekend, including both outward and return travel. Shuttle travel is free with a Priority Pass. There is also a Kiss-and-Ride area for drop-offs and pick-ups, as well as free bicycle parking near the festival entrance.
Is parking available?
A dedicated visitor car park is available. Parking tickets can be purchased in advance online from the official ticket shop.
How old do I need to be to get in?
Entry on Friday and Saturday is restricted to those aged 18 or over. On Sunday, 16- and 17-year-olds may also enter without an accompanying adult or parental consent form, as the site closes before midnight. Age checks are carried out at the entrance using an official photo ID such as an identity card, passport or driving licence.
How do I pay on site?
Food and drinks on the festival site are paid for with tokens. You can pre-order them in the ticket shop and collect them on site, or buy them directly at the festival. Girocard, debit card, credit card, VISA, MasterCard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and contactless payment are accepted when purchasing tokens. Tickets in the online shop can be paid for via PayPal, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, bank transfer or instalments.
What can I bring, and what is prohibited?
You may not bring your own food or drinks onto the festival site. Medication may be carried in medically justified cases with a doctor’s certificate. Prohibited items include weapons of any kind, pyrotechnics, glass bottles, animals, illegal drugs and legal drugs in quantities exceeding personal use. Additional items are prohibited on the campsite, including flaming torches, confetti, megaphones, dry ice and drones.
Is the site accessible?
The festival site is designed to be largely accessible. Accessible toilets are available on site; please ask the on-site DRK team for their locations. Visitors with a German severe disability pass bearing the markers B, aG or Bl may bring one companion free of charge, without the companion needing their own ticket.
Can I leave the site and return later?
All visitors receive a festival wristband on their first entry, which permits re-entry. However, re-entry is not guaranteed; the decision rests with security staff. Bags and visitors are checked for security purposes every time they enter the site.
Are dogs allowed on site?
Animals are not permitted on the festival site.
Is there an emergency app for the festival?
Yes. The Guardy app provides additional protection at Electrisize Festival. It lets you share your live location with friends and discreetly request help in an emergency. If an alarm is raised, security or the on-site medical service is notified directly.
