BEN TECHY

Ben Techy is a Scottish DJ and producer who combines techno with its harder-edged forms. His sets focus on energy and dark sonic tones, while his productions are driven by hard kicks and industrial textures.

Behind the name is Ruairidh McKay, who works both in the studio and as a DJ. In 2025, he released “Kein Vorbei” and “Paragone”. He has also released music on Techno Germany, OBSCUUR and Marked.

Ben Techy has also appeared at European clubs including Club Ost in Berlin and Odonien in Cologne. Recorded sets for Rotterdam Rave and Techno Germany show another side of his work: his direct approach behind the decks.

Moving between Hard Techno, Industrial Techno and Schranz, he keeps the pressure high without committing to a single style. For festival audiences, this promises a dark, powerful rave sound built on hard kicks and industrial textures.
