About this festival

Shutdown Festival 2026 takes place on 8 August at the Zwentendorf Nuclear Power Plant in Austria. This one-day open-air event is dedicated entirely to Hard Music, using the extraordinary industrial site as the backdrop for twelve hours of music. Five stages and 60 artists set the scene for a compact large-scale event spanning several styles of harder electronic music.

The line-up includes D-Block & S-te-Fan, Harris & Ford, Lil Texas, Mad Dog x KARAH and Major Conspiracy. The programme ranges from Hardstyle and Hardcore to faster, high-impact sounds. The former nuclear facility gives the festival a distinctive industrial atmosphere, setting it apart from traditional open-air events. Shutdown is aimed at the Harder Styles community, bringing together an extensive daytime programme across multiple stages at the Zwentendorf site.
