About Vieze Asbak
Vieze Asbak is a Dutch DJ and producer who combines hard techno with humour and a taste for the absurd. His blend of hard kicks and playful ideas has earned its own place within meme techno.
He started out in 2021 by making tracks for friends, which quickly found a wider audience through social media. In 2022, he founded the Pestcore Collectief with Natte Visstick, Gladde Paling and other artists to retain the playful, raw character of their music. That circle also led to connections with other acts, including several collaborations with Joost Klein.
Vieze Asbak broke through with “Meet Her At The Love Parade”. “Lekkere Boterham”, created with Natte Visstick, also became one of his successful tracks. His collaboration with Joost Klein resulted in “Friesenjung” and a gold certification in Germany; since then, Vieze Asbak has also performed at Tomorrowland, Sziget and Lowlands.
Today, his sound brings distorted kicks and heavy percussion together with catchy melodies and absurd samples. He delivers that mix on stage with high energy: anyone standing in front of him can expect hard sounds with no hesitation when it comes to a joke.
