Toza

TOZA stands for hard dance with impact and drama: his tracks combine hard kicks, high energy and details that give each piece a narrative arc. The DJ and producer was born in Baghdad, developed musically in Australia and from there found his way onto European festival stages.

His debut arrived in January 2023, as his edits were already making their way onto Dutch dancefloors. Before moving to the Netherlands, his edit WALL OF TOZA was already circulating in the country’s Raw scene and featured in Rebelion’s sets. He joined Rebelion’s Acid Reign label later that year, which subsequently led to their joint release ZAAG ’N’ NIGHT.

TOZA made his Dutch debut at Intents Festival in 2024, followed in 2025 by appearances including REBiRTH Festival and Defqon.1. His reach soon extended beyond a single scene in the studio, too: Hardstyle Is Back with Krowdexx reached number 26 in the Q-dance Top 100 in 2025. His early edits and appearances on major Raw stages tell the story of a rapid rise that began in Australia and gathered pace in Europe.

Today, TOZA combines Rawstyle with influences from Hard Techno, Uptempo and other harder forms of electronic music. He develops the ideas and concepts behind his music himself, while a co-producer handles parts of the technical production, as well as mixing and mastering. On stage, this sound becomes forceful, zaag-driven sets that have earned him a place on the harder festival stages.
