About this festival
This September, Rheingrün Open Air heads to the Upper Rhine: the two-day open-air event for hard electronic music takes place at the Peter-Gross-Bau Areal in Karlsruhe-Rheinstetten on 19 and 20 September 2026. Following its move from Rheinstrandbad, the new festival site offers significantly more space, water points, fountains and generous chill-out areas. Hard Techno takes centre stage, complemented by Industrial and powerful, trance-influenced sets. The line-up features more than a hundred acts from the European rave scene, including DAX J, KOTORRI, MIKA HEGGEMANN, SCHROTTHAGEN and VENDEX; the timetable is still to follow.
Van camping is available within walking distance of the site: campervans and motorhomes are allocated pitches, while basic tent camping without a vehicle is not available. Payments on site are cashless only, using EC- or credit card. Tickets and camping passes are available from the official shop, and vehicle entry to the campsite begins at 4 pm on Friday.

Camping
Van Camping is within easy walking distance of the site. Campervans, motorhomes and PKW with roof tents or awnings are permitted; simple tent camping without a vehicle is not possible. Each vehicle requires a Vehicle Pass, and every person also needs a Camping Person Pass. Entry is from Friday at 4 pm; departure is by 12 noon on Monday.

The Peter-Gross-Bau Areal is located in Karlsruhe-Rheinstetten. Travel, parking and ÖPNV (public transport) information will be published alongside the site map.
How can I pay on site?
EC or credit cards are accepted at all sales points across the festival site. The entire site is cashless.
What can I bring, and what is prohibited?
You may not bring your own food or drinks, glass bottles, flammable materials such as deodorants or aerosol cans, or dangerous items. Drugs are prohibited.
Will food and drinks be available on site?
The site features a food mile and various bars, with vegetarian and vegan food also planned. Drinks are served in reusable cups, with a €2 deposit charged for each cup.
