SYNDICATE 2026 takes place at Westfalenhallen Dortmund on 3 October. The large-scale indoor event brings together the harder electronic music scene for a long festival night, with the Westfalenhallen forming the central setting for the programme and its various areas.
Harder Styles and a curated DJ programme take centre stage, aimed at audiences looking to experience hard electronic music in a large-scale hall setting. The festival evening begins on the October public holiday and continues the event series in Dortmund. With its clear focus on the harder side of electronic dance music, SYNDICATE adds a specialised indoor festival in North Rhine-Westphalia to the autumn calendar.

Questions & answers
How do I get to the festival?
With a valid ticket, visitors can travel free of charge on buses, trams and trains (RE, RB and S-Bahn, 2nd class) throughout the VRR area. Free travel tickets can be booked at kombiticket.syndicate-festival.de. Hardtours and Feierreisen also offer organised coach travel from numerous German cities.
Is parking available?
There is ample parking next to the event site. Parking tickets are available at the car park entrance.
How old do I need to be to get in?
Entry is from the age of 16. After midnight, 16- and 17-year-olds do not require either an accompanying adult or an under-18 form (Muttizettel).
Will there be tickets available at the box office?
Yes, the box office will be open from around 6 pm.
How do I pay at the venue?
SYNDICATE is cashless. Payments can only be made using a cashless wristband. Credit can be topped up free of charge in the event portal before the event. There are also cash machines in the Westfalenhallen concourse and in the foyer between Halls 2 and 3.
What can I bring, and what is prohibited?
Food and drinks are not permitted. Weapons, drugs, pyrotechnic items, laser pointers, spray deodorants, glass bottles and cans are also prohibited. Personal cameras for private recordings are allowed.
Is the site accessible?
Accessible entrances and toilets are available at the Westfalenhallen. All dance floors are accessible, and the Mainstage-Floor has a wheelchair platform. Accessible parking is available on presentation of a disability ID.
Can I leave the site and return later?
Yes. Re-entry can be activated for a €5 fee on your cashless wristband, either online via the event portal or on site at the TopUp points and evening box offices.
