Dr. Peacock

Dr. Peacock, whose real name is Stefan Dekker, has taken Frenchcore from the Netherlands to the biggest stages in the hard dance scene. His music pairs fast, hard kicks with melodies that still cut through even the largest festival crowds.

Raised in Limmen, he discovered hardcore through Thunderdome compilations as a child and started mixing himself at the age of twelve. Records by The Speed Freak, The Sickest Squad and DJ Radium led him to Frenchcore, whose tempo and distorted bass kicks never let go of him. After performing at Beter Kom Je Niet in 2010, he began producing and founded his own label, Peacock Records, in 2013.

With the track „Trip to Ireland“ and the subsequent „Trip to“ series, he made musical journeys a signature of his sound. The album „Trip Around the World“ continued that idea in 2016, while appearances at Defqon.1, Dominator and Thunderdome cemented his place on the biggest festival stages. He has also worked with Sefa on several occasions, connecting his own career with a younger generation of Frenchcore.

At „Peacock in Concert“, live musicians join him alongside the DJ booth, expanding Frenchcore with instrumental passages. Whether in concert form or a DJ set, festival audiences get driving kicks, sweeping melodies and the energy of a sound he has shaped over many years.
