About this festival
Saint-Étienne becomes the capital of Hard Music in early December: on 4 and 5 December 2026, Dystopia Festival will transform Parc Expo into a dystopian setting featuring more than 40 artists. Two monumental stages will keep Hard Music and Techno separate, alongside pyrotechnics, lasers, light shows and continuous hosting. Around 20 hours of music are scheduled across both evenings, from 6 pm until 4 am.
Spread across more than 10,000 square metres, the site has been designed by Dutch scenographers and evokes major European festivals. Alongside the stages, visitors can expect a food court, stalls, prevention services and an area for meeting the artists. Parc Expo is located on Boulevard Jules Janin and can be reached via the motorways from Lyon, Paris and Clermont-Ferrand. Payments on site are made using a cashless wristband.
Tickets for both days are available from the official online shop. The standard two-day pass costs €84.99, while the later sales tier costs €94.99. Early-bird allocations are sold out. Entry is only permitted for those aged 16 or over, and re-entry is not allowed.
