About this festival
ISLE OF SUMMER VIENNA 2026 takes place on 1 August on Vienna’s Donauinsel. This one-day open-air festival brings electronic music to a festival setting between Georg-Danzer-Steg and Brigittenauer Brücke. Four stages and more than 30 international artists shape the programme from 11 am to 11 pm. The Donauinsel provides an open summer setting right in the city.
Melodic Techno, Hard Techno and Trance are the confirmed musical focuses. Ben Böhmer, CamelPhat, Deborah De Luca, Eric Prydz, I Hate Models and Kobosil are among the announced line-up. The festival brings together a range of electronic sounds in a compact one-day format. ISLE OF SUMMER is aimed at visitors looking for an urban festival with several stages and an international DJ programme. Following the main programme, official aftershows in Vienna clubs extend the festival weekend.

How do I get to the festival?
The site extends south of the Georg-Danzer-Steg and the Padelzone, as far as the Brigittenauer Brücke. The festival is open from 11 am to 11 pm.
What is the minimum age for entry?
All IOS events are strictly for ages 18 and over. There are no exceptions to this age limit.
How can I pay on site?
The festival site is cashless. EC card, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, V-Pay and Maestro are accepted. Cash is not accepted, except in the car park.
What can I bring, and what is prohibited?
Food and drinks may not be brought into the site. A selection of food trucks and bars offering fair prices will be available on site. Deodorant sprays, bulky items such as flags and umbrellas, weapons of any kind, professional photography and filming equipment without prior registration, fireworks, pyrotechnic items, markers and felt-tip pens are also prohibited.
Is the site accessible?
People with a severe disability pass showing a degree of disability of 80 per cent or higher receive free admission. If the pass includes the B marker, one accompanying person also receives free admission. Passes must be shown at the festival entrance. Accessible toilets are available on site.
Can I leave the site during the festival?
A one-way policy applies. Once you leave the festival site, you cannot re-enter later.
