Klangkuenstler, whose real name is Michael Korb, is a German DJ and producer whose journey has taken him from house to hard techno.

Originally from the Allgäu, he moved to Munich at 18, began training in hotel administration and deepened his enthusiasm for electronic music there. He founded Zuckerton Records in 2011 and, following his first appearance at Ritter Butzke, moved to Berlin in summer 2012. His debut album, „Das bin ich“, was released in 2013, when deep and tech house still shaped his sound. From 2018, he increasingly turned towards techno, citing a visit to Awakenings Festival and DJ SHDW as key inspirations behind the stylistic shift.

In 2019, he founded another label, Outworld, and also launched his own event series under the name. His track „Deine Angst“ took first place in the “Best Track” category of Faze Magazine’s annual poll in 2022. His appearances now range from German festivals including Echelon and Ikarus to Coachella and EDC Las Vegas.

In 2023, he and Kobosil founded Tote Sonne, a project bringing together their label, artist agency and clothing lines. He has also increasingly collaborated with rappers since 2023, including on „Sonne geht auf“ with Ski Aggu. Today, his techno, influenced by the Nineties and early 2000s, meets the dark, high-energy force of hard techno and Schranz.
