About this festival
Zurich turns its attention to electroacoustic music for three days at the end of October 2026. Zwei Tage Strom runs from 29 to 31 October, opening on Thursday at Filmpodium on Nüschelerstrasse before the programme moves to Kunstraum Walcheturm on Kanonengasse on Friday and Saturday. Founded in 2013, the festival takes place every two years.
The opening evening combines concerts and films, bringing works by Moroccan composer Ahmed Essyad together with work by Gilles Aubry, alongside films by Laila Hida and a conversation between the two musicians. Sandra Boss, Ryoko Akama with Elico Suzuki, Basel duo Papiro, Clara de Asís, Lee Fraser and Nik Colk Void follow over the weekend. The programme spans quadraphonic computer music, modular synthesis and improvised live sets between club culture and the avant-garde.
Both venues are in central Zurich: Filmpodium near Bellevue and Kunstraum Walcheturm close to the main railway station. Advance tickets for all three evenings are available via the festival website, which links to Eventfrog.
