About this festival
Magic Mountain Zermatt transforms the car-free mountain village at the Matterhorn into a winter festival of electronic music and art from 10 to 13 December 2026. The festival takes place across several venues in the village, including the Cervo mountain resort, Vernissage and the Snow Boat. Techno and house feature across the stages, with Andrea Oliva, Kellerkind, Whomadewho and Manuel Moreno among the artists confirmed for this edition. The combination of club music and snow-covered Alpine scenery gives the event its distinctive character.
The programme runs from Thursday to Sunday, with daytime and evening events. Tickets are available for selected programme items on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. As Zermatt is car-free, guests arrive by train, while the individual venues are within walking distance of one another in the village. The festival brings electronic music together with an Alpine winter sports resort for an audience seeking both partying and nature in one experience.

Questions & answers
How do I get to the festival?
Zermatt is car-free. If you are travelling by car, drive as far as Täsch, then take the shuttle train to Zermatt, which takes around twelve minutes. Zermatt is also easily reached by rail from across Switzerland: depending on your departure point, you will generally travel via Visp or Brig towards the Matterhorn. From Visp, the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn runs directly to Zermatt.
Is parking available?
Several parking options are available right by Täsch railway station, including Matterhorn Terminal Täsch. From there, the shuttle train runs regularly to car-free Zermatt.
Is there a box office?
Admission to the events at Streetside and Pöstli can be paid for directly on site. A ticket is required for events on the Madre Nostra Terrasse at Cervo and at Vernissage, while the off-locations Adler Hitta and Blauhärd are free to access.
What happens in bad weather?
The parties generally go ahead. If weather conditions require changes, the festival will provide timely updates via its newsletter and website; if necessary, individual events will be moved to an indoor venue.
Are all festival locations within walking distance?
Yes. The Day-Mainstage at Cervo is a short walk from Zermatt railway station, with Vernissage even closer. The off-locations Adler Hitta and Blauhärd are on the mountain but can also be reached without skis or a snowboard. Pöstli and Streetside are in the village centre.
Where can I exchange my ticket for my festival wristband?
Before your first party, exchange your ticket for your personal festival wristband. Wristband exchange is available at several locations, including during the day at the Madre Nostra Terrasse at Cervo and in the evening at Vernissage.
