About this festival
For five days, S festival brings electronic music into the life of Lyon’s Confluence district. Its second edition runs from 9 to 13 December 2026, with concerts, DJ sets and collaborative performances spread across several cultural venues. Marta and Oonagh Haines open the festival at Marché Gare. On Thursday, a musical trail takes in Hôtel71, HEAT, Le Périscope and Sonic, with Derbcore, David August and Brainrot Cowboy among those on the programme.
The weekend combines club nights at Le Sucre with afternoon and evening programmes at La Sucrière. Cassius, Ellen Allien, Quelza, Stef Mendesidis and Underground Resistance are among the confirmed acts. Acid on Ice at Patinoire Charlemagne offers a different setting, pairing DJ sets with ice skating. A Christmas market at HEAT and a family programme at Musée des Confluences complement the music festival. The venues can be reached on foot or by bike within the district.

Questions & answers
How do I get to the festival?
S festival takes place across several venues in Lyon-Confluence: Marché Gare (4-6 Place Hubert Mounier), Hôtel 71 (71 quai Perrache), HEAT (70 quai Perrache), Le Périscope (13 rue Delandine), Sonic (04 quai des Étroits), Patinoire Charlemagne (100 cours Charlemagne), Le Sucre (50 quai Rambaud) and La Sucrière (49 quai Rambaud). Tram lines T1 and T2 stop at Hôtel de Région Montrochet; from there, it is a four- to ten-minute walk to the venues, depending on where you are headed.
How old do I need to be to get in?
S festival’s main events – the club nights and the evenings at La Sucrière – are open to those aged 18 or over only. This also applies when accompanied by a legal guardian; ID will be checked at the entrance.
Will there be tickets available on the door?
Resale is handled exclusively through the official feature in the Shotgun app; waiting lists for sold-out events are also available there. Tickets for Acid on Ice at Patinoire Charlemagne are sold only on the door and cost a flat rate of €12, with skate hire on site available for an additional €4. Lost tickets can be found in your Shotgun account, while transfers to friends are handled through the app’s transfer feature.
What can I bring, and what is prohibited?
Rucksacks, bulky items and dangerous objects are not permitted at the event venues. Smoking is prohibited in all covered venues.
Is the site accessible?
Companions are admitted free on presentation of a Carte Mobilité Inclusion (CMI). Applications must be made in advance via accessibilite@arty-farty.eu; no free tickets are issued on the day of the event, and the accessible ticket shop closes the day before. Most venues have paved paths, adapted toilets, ramps and lowered counters, while Le Sucre has a lift to the rooftop. Wheelchairs and vibration vests are available on site, and the AMAAC team runs its own welcome point. Péniche Sonic can be accessed via a gangway, but its interior spaces are not suitable for wheelchairs.
