Waves Open Air Closing 2027

A 12-hour rave to close the season: on 4 September 2027, Waves Open Air Closing returns to Spaßbad Wedemark near Hanover. The programme centres on one open-air main stage, while the venue's swimming pool is open in good weather. Entry is for ages 18 or over.

Tokens are the only form of payment on site at Am Freizeitpark; they are available from exchange points for cash or card. Food trucks offer vegan options, an awareness team is on site, and lockers with charging facilities can be added through the ticket shop. Re-entry is not permitted once you leave the site. Travel is via the A7 motorway or the S4 S-Bahn line to Mellendorf.

The Closing marks the end of the Waves series season, which begins in June with Waves Open Air Festival. No line-up has yet been confirmed for 2027. Subject to remaining availability, entry at the box office costs €70 including fees.
