About this festival
To close the summer season, the Waves Open Air team will transform the Spaßbad Wedemark leisure complex near Hanover into an open-air setting for techno and rave on 5 September 2026. Eight confirmed acts will drive the 12-hour programme on the main stage, including 2HOT2PLAY, Nicolás Julián, Nikolina, Schrotthagen, Vendex and Zwilling. Entry is for ages 18 or over. Tokens are used throughout the site and can be bought on site with cash or card. An awareness team and lockable lockers with charging facilities complete the offering.
The site is accessible and can be reached via the A7 motorway or Hannover's S4 S-Bahn line. The swimming pools will remain closed on the day, as the Spaßbad swimming season runs until the end of August. Several food trucks, including vegan options, will cater for visitors. Re-entry is not permitted once you leave the site. Tickets are available through the official shop in advance-sale phases; admission at the box office costs €70 including fees, subject to availability.
