About this festival
S.T.A.R. Festival (Stuttgart Techno and Rave) takes place on 12 and 13 September 2026 at EWS-Arena in Wernau near Stuttgart. The two-day indoor and open-air festival brings together techno, hardcore and rave across several stage areas. It opens at 4:30 pm on Friday and 1:30 pm on Saturday, running until 2 am each night. For the first time, the organiser is offering a campsite for caravans and motorhomes.
The line-up features more than 25 acts: Angerfist, A.N.I., ARMANDO, Basskiller, Chrissyjeey, Die Gebrüder Brett, Dropixx, Dynin, George Radsport, Giø, In Verruf, Kim Ahlf, Klanglos, Kopf & Hörer, Levt, Marika Rossa, Mark Dekoda, Maurice, Nyra and Ostrausch. The music ranges from melodic techno and driving hardcore to festival-ready rave sounds. The minimum age is 18. Parking is available on site.

Camping
For the first time, S.T.A.R. Festival offers a campsite for caravans and motorhomes. A separate camping ticket is available in the shop. For all other guests, the organisers recommend hotels in the surrounding area.
Questions & answers
How do I get to the festival?
Wernau (Neckar) station is served by the S1 every half hour. From Stuttgart Central Station, take the S1 towards Kirchheim (Teck) to Wernau (Neckar); the journey takes ten stops. The festival site is around a 300-metre walk from the station.
Is parking available?
Yes, parking is available in front of the festival site. Detailed driving directions for arrivals by car from Karlsruhe and Munich are available on the travel page.
How old do I need to be to get in?
The minimum age is 18. Anyone under 18 cannot attend, even with a parental authorisation form for an accompanying adult (Muttizettel).
Will tickets be available on the door?
Yes, a limited number of tickets will be available on the door. However, buying a ticket in advance is recommended.
How do I pay on site?
A cashless payment system is in use across the festival site. Credit is loaded onto your festival wristband and can be topped up at Top-Up Stations using cash, an EC card or credit card. Alternatively, you can buy a credit package in the Cashless Shop before or during the festival and load it onto your wristband using a QR code.
