About Tension Festival
On 27 and 28 November 2026, Messehalle Basel will host Tension Winter Festival. The two-day indoor event brings electronic music to late autumn, adding its own winter series to the summer festival programme at Gartenbad St. Jakob. For two nights, the hall at Basler Messeplatz belongs to electronic music. Single-day and two-night tickets are available via the official Ticketmaster shop linked on the festival website.
The winter event uses the large hall space for its stage and dancefloor, continuing the festival’s roots in the Swiss electronic scene. Further details of the acts performing at this edition are still to be announced. Basel is easily reached by train and plane, while Messehalle sits in the north of the city directly beside the exhibition grounds.
