About this festival
Tension Festival takes place at Gartenbad St. Jakob between Basel and Münchenstein from 30 July to 1 August 2027. The open-air event combines electronic music with the atmosphere of a summer swimming pool, featuring a pool area, three stages, a market and a food area. Techno and house take centre stage in a programme aimed at guests aged 18 or over.
Tickets are available as three-day passes and day tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday through the official sales channels. Advance sales for this edition are already underway via the official ticket shop. The festival has established itself within Switzerland’s electronic music scene. A named line-up for the 2027 edition has not yet been announced.
