About OCUPA
On the first weekend of December, Braga becomes a two-day hub for electronic music and digital art. The eleventh edition of OCUPA takes place on 4 and 5 December 2026 across several venues in the city, chiefly gnration and Casa Rolão. The programme combines concerts with audiovisual performances, installations and a discussion about festival formats. A day pass costs five euros, while a two-day pass is seven euros.
On Friday evening, bvhz and liturgia perform in the sala multiusos, followed by ode and clube de vídeo’s music-and-image production in the Blackbox. Saturday begins with a modular synthesiser workshop and a discussion at Casa Rolão, before João ms, Everything Speaks of Itself, i'a'v', Volatile Poem, José Gonçalves Rios and Israel Machado continue the programme.
OCUPA is organised by the AUAUFEIOMAU cooperative, with support from gnration, Braga Media Arts and the City of Braga. The venues are in the city centre and within walking distance.
