About this festival
Prague hosts the 14th edition of Spectaculare from 3 March to 13 April 2027. The festival takes place across several venues: ROXY, Planetárium Praha, the Church of St Simon and Juda, Bike Jesus and Divadlo Hybernia. Rather than a single site, audiences travel between concert hall, planetarium and industrial hall.
The programme ranges from contemporary electronic and acoustic music to ambient soundscapes, with excursions into post-rock, jazz and classical music. Modeselektor open at ROXY on 3 March, followed by Emika at the planetarium on 4 March with an immersive audiovisual show. Piano Day on 31 March brings Yehezkel Raz and Poppy Ackroyd to the Baroque Church of St Simon and Juda; Janus Rasmussen plays Bike Jesus on 8 April, while Ólafur Arnalds closes the festival at Divadlo Hybernia on 12 and 13 April.
The concept also includes film, exhibitions, dance and videomapping, as well as workshops with the participating artists. Tickets are available for individual evenings.
