About this festival
SonneMondSterne Festival returns to the Bleilochtalsperre at Saalburg Beach in Thuringia in summer 2027. The 2027 edition takes place near Saalburg-Ebersdorf from 6 to 8 August, continuing its tradition of being held on the second weekend in August. One of Europe’s major electronic dance music festivals, the three-day programme features techno, house and other electronic genres. Advance ticket sales for the 2027 edition have begun via the official festival website and its associated ticket shop.
The site is directly beside the reservoir, bringing together the festival and the surrounding natural setting. All payments across the site are cashless. Campsites are part of the festival, with a separate camping code governing tent camping. Shuttle buses provide additional transport from the region. The organiser will announce the named 2027 line-up at a later date. The festival is organised by Seekers Event GmbH from Jena.

Camping pitches are available on the festival site at Saalburg Beach. A separate campsite code governs camping on site.

How do I pay on site?
SonneMondSterne is cashless across the entire festival site, with drinks, food, merchandise and purchases at the stalls paid for using the festival wristband. Credit can be loaded in advance via the online shop or at top-up stations on site using cash, an EC-card or credit card.
