Oggimusica Meets Code 2027

Computer music, electronic live performances and digital art come together at Oggimusica Meets Code 2027 in Switzerland’s Ticino region. The five-day festival opens on 7 April at Cinema Teatro in Chiasso before moving to the Teatrostudio at LAC in Lugano from 9 to 11 April. Robert Lippok opens the programme with electronic sounds and field recordings, while Noémi Büchi brings together music, movement and images in her audiovisual performance Exuvie. The second evening features music for acoustic instruments and real-time electronics, as well as a performance by RKH Studio.

In Lugano, spatial listening takes centre stage: a speaker-equipped half-dome enables the three-dimensional presentation of electroacoustic works. The wider programme includes Natasha Barrett, Francisco Meirino with a live modular synthesiser set, and Dominic Thibault. Across its two venues, the edition brings together experimental electronic music, audiovisual works and a range of approaches to digital sound design.
