About this festival
Ilosaarirock, one of Finland’s longest-running music festivals, returns to Laulurinne in Joensuu in 2027. From 16 to 18 July, the lakeside meadows near the city centre will become a festival park. Since its founding in 1971, the three-day open-air event has attracted around 70,000 visitors each year, bringing together rock, indie, pop, hip-hop and electronic music across several stages, alongside DJ sets and dancefloors.
Alongside the music programme, the event offers a wide range of workshops, skate and sports activities, as well as regional attractions. The 2027 edition is already on sale; the first confirmed artists are still to be announced and will be added by the organiser over the course of the season. Tickets for the festival weekend are available via the official shop.
Camping
Ilosaarirock does not operate its own campsite. Right next to the festival site, Holiday Linnunlahti offers tent and motorhome pitches as well as holiday apartments. Showers, saunas, a kitchen and barbecue facilities are available on site, with direct access to the festival site.
