Ilosaarirock

Ilosaarirock, one of Finland’s longest-running music festivals, returns to Laulurinne in Joensuu in 2027. From 16 to 18 July, the lakeside meadows near the city centre will become a festival park. Since its founding in 1971, the three-day open-air event has attracted around 70,000 visitors each year, bringing together rock, indie, pop, hip-hop and electronic music across several stages, alongside DJ sets and dancefloors.

Alongside the music programme, the event offers a wide range of workshops, skate and sports activities, as well as regional attractions. The 2027 edition is already on sale; the first confirmed artists are still to be announced and will be added by the organiser over the course of the season.
