About this festival
In the foothills of the Alps, the former US barracks in Bad Aibling opens its gates for two days of Echelon Festival on 13 August 2027. Techno, EDM and Electro spread across the former espionage station on Texasstraße, where more than one hundred acts perform across seven stages, including Radiant, Echo, Nebula and Hade Cage. For more than a decade, the festival has been regarded as Bavaria’s largest event of its kind. After dark, lighting and laser effects bring the stages to life.
Overnight stays are available directly on site. Comfort Camping offers beds, fans, a chill-out area, sauna and reception, while campers can park their own vehicles at Caravan Camping. Accommodation options including Asgard Standard, Asgard Komfort and Lodge complete the offering. The Echelon Shuttle links the site with Bad Aibling railway station, and parking is located near the entrance. Entry is for those aged 18 or over only.

At the former US barracks site, Echelon offers Comfort Camping with beds, fans, a chill-out area, sauna and reception, as well as Caravan Camping for visitors bringing their own motorhomes. Accommodation options include Asgard Standard, Asgard Komfort and Lodge.

How do I get to the festival?
The festival site is located on the grounds of the former US barracks in Bad Aibling. A regular shuttle service connects Bad Aibling station with the festival site; exact timetables will be published under Travel before the festival.
Is parking available?
There is a charge to use the festival car park, which is not included in the ticket price. As the parking area is not cashless, please bring cash to pay the parking fee.
How old do I need to be to get in?
ECHELON Festival is strictly for people aged 18 or over, with no exceptions. Entry will not be granted even with parental consent. A valid photo ID is required for admission.
How can I pay on site?
The festival and campsite operate entirely cashlessly; accepted payment methods are EC card, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, V-Pay and Maestro. Bring cash for parking, shuttle services and the waste deposit outside the site.
What can I bring, and what is prohibited?
Only drawstring bags or rucksacks up to DIN A4 size may be brought onto the festival site; larger rucksacks must be left outside. Bringing your own food and drinks is not permitted, except in cases of allergies or specific dietary requirements, which will be checked at the entrance.
Is the site accessible?
People with a severe disability ID card showing a disability level of 80 per cent or more receive free admission, as does one accompanying person if required. Accessible toilets are available on site; entry is arranged at the ticket container on presentation of the ID card.
Can I leave the site during the festival?
Day tickets allow one-time entry to the festival site per day only (one-way rule). Full Weekend Ticket holders may leave and re-enter the festival site and camping area as often as they like.
