About this festival
On 1 August 2026, the Van Nelle Fabriek in Rotterdam opens its doors for Dagvlinder Festival. This one-day event transforms the UNESCO World Heritage Site into a festival setting with two air-conditioned indoor areas and an outdoor area featuring a cocktail bar and food trucks. House and tech house take centre stage in a carefully curated programme from 1pm to 11pm.
Mr. Belt & Wezol, Benny Rodrigues and Prunk are among the 16 confirmed acts performing across two stages. The Dutch house scene is strongly represented, alongside international guests on the second stage. The festival focuses on an intimate atmosphere set against the industrial backdrop of the former tobacco factory.
Advance tickets are available in several price tiers from €44.50. The Van Nelle Fabriek can be reached by public transport from Rotterdam Central Station, and parking is available nearby. The festival is aimed at an adult audience and promotes a respectful atmosphere.

How old do I need to be to get in?
Entry to Dagvlinder Festival is for ages 18 and over.
Until when is entry possible?
The gates are open until 9 pm. Entry to the festival site is not possible after that.
How does the reusable cup system work?
At the entrance, you receive an Ecomunt for a cup. An empty cup can be exchanged for a new clean cup or an Ecomunt; if you lose yours, a new Ecomunt is available at the bar.
