About this festival
Since 2006, Beat-Herder has grown into a village of stages, bars and workshops on a site between Clitheroe and Sawley in the Ribble Valley. The 2027 edition runs from 16 to 18 July and opens on Friday morning. Toil Trees in the woods, the Beat-Herder Stage, The Fortress and The Ring are among more than a dozen music areas hosting performances across the weekend.
The programme is broad, bringing together electronic dance music, reggae at Bushrocker Hi-Fi, funk at Stumblefunk, brass bands and live acts. There is also a small funfair, around forty stalls and fourteen bars. Stages built from old vehicles, wood and hand-painted signs give the festival its distinctive look.
Camping is available on the camping field. Motorhomes and caravans require a separate pass, while pre-pitched tents and glamping accommodation are also available. Tickets for 2027 are on sale now; the artist line-up will follow later.
