About this festival
When A State of Trance opens the doors of the Ahoy halls in Rotterdam at the end of February 2027, trance takes centre stage. On 26 and 27 February 2027, several halls will become stages for melodic and progressive trance, alongside faster uplifting and tech styles. Armin van Buuren opens the weekend with a five-hour set tracing the history of the genre. Across two days, the festival continues the series of international trance events in the Dutch port city.
The event is one of the Netherlands’ major indoor electronic music festivals. Located at Ahoyweg 10 in the south of Rotterdam, Rotterdam Ahoy is well connected by metro lines and rail, with around 2,500 parking spaces available. The organiser will announce further international acts and admission times via its official channels. Weekend tickets will be available from the first week of September 2026.
