Satirized

Satirized, real name Joshua Verweij, is a Dutch Uptempo producer and DJ who combines hard kicks with melodic lightness and bouncy beats. His music drives forward without letting the fun of dancing disappear behind the intensity.

Verweij is from IJsselstein and began dedicating his spare time to producing Uptempo in 2019. His debut release, “Pray To The Lord”, came out on Barbaric Records; he later worked with Barber, Manifest Destiny, Noxiouz and Unproven, among others.

Tracks including “Bounce” and “Addicted” helped grow his fanbase, while appearances at Intents, REBiRTH and Decibel Outdoor took him to major festival stages. Intents 2026 was set to be a particularly packed weekend, with seven sets planned: Satirized was due to host the Dynamite-Area for the second time and close the Mainstage with Dynamite LIVE on Saturday evening. He described the joint show with Lekkerfaces, Noxiouz and The Dark Horror as a childhood dream come true.

His live act “Neon Funfair” also shows where he wants to take things on stage. Rather than dark staging, the concept embraces the exuberant atmosphere of a fictional amusement park. Each stop in the park represents a different part of the show, accompanied by new tracks, edits and collaborations. Moving between slower tempos and fast bounce, it leaves room for variety without losing Satirized’s powerful core.
