Noxiouz

Noxiouz is Maarten Kenemans, a DJ and producer from Utrecht working between Uptempo Hardcore and the harder edges of Hardcore. His music combines impact with dark atmospheres and melodic moments.

An early collaboration with Dimitri K brought Noxiouz to wider attention. In 2023, he released an EP and staged his own event, “The Chemicals of Noxiouz”. He later joined BKJN Bookings, and the concept also became the bookable live act “The Chemicals of Noxiouz LIVE”.

He has appeared on Dutch festival stages including Defqon.1, Dominator and Decibel Outdoor. In 2025, he hosted the Dynamite Stage at Intents Festival. With the album “The Catalyst”, Noxiouz marks a new phase in his music, which he also developed into his own live set and event in 2026.

The shift began when he noticed in 2025 how his kicks, melodies and arrangements had changed. The dark mood remains, but a slower tempo, more melodies and more narrative tracks are intended to make his Uptempo sound more accessible. On stage, he complements the new music with visuals and special effects – a live concept designed to make the change not only audible, but visible too.
