About this festival
For ten days in September, Vienna becomes a hub for experimental and electronic music as Unsafe+Sounds Festival takes place across venues throughout the city from 4 to 13 September 2026. Since 2015, the event has been one of Austria’s leading international platforms for advanced electronic sound art. Its programme brings together concerts, performances and club nights, ranging from ambient and noise to danceable electronic music.
The first confirmed acts include The Necks, Fennesz, Richard Youngs, Saint Abdullah & Eomac, Lolina, Organ Tapes, Peter Kutin and Ugne Uma, with further names still to be added. The festival brings together established and emerging voices from the international scene. Visitors move between venues across the city, with the programme spread across concert halls, clubs and unusual locations.
