About this festival
On the Alm at Erlebnisort Reden above Landsweiler-Reden, the Bergehalde once again becomes an open-air dancefloor on Whitsun Saturday, 15 May 2027. Tropical Mountain brings House, Electro and EDM to a stage overlooking Saarland, with fire fountains and a summery atmosphere part of the event since its first editions. Advance tickets are released in strictly limited phases via the official ticket page, and the cheapest tickets sell out quickly.
The organiser describes it as a compact festival day for anyone wanting to celebrate electronic beats outdoors. The Alm at the former Reden mine is more than a backdrop: the listed industrial site gives the event its distinctive character. Those wishing to stay longer can find accommodation in the region, while Landsweiler-Reden station and short journeys from the Saarbrücken area make travelling there possible. Is parking available?
There is ample parking around the event site. Alternatively, visitors can take shuttle buses from the valley up the mountain for €3.00 each way; the buses run throughout the event.
How old do I need to be to get in?
Entry to Tropical Mountain is permitted from the age of 12. Anyone under 16 may only enter the site when accompanied by, or with written permission from, a parent or legal guardian. Visitors aged 16 and over may stay until midnight.
Is the site accessible?
The site is easily accessible for people with physical disabilities, and accessible toilets are available. For severely disabled people whose ID card bears the B designation, admission for one accompanying person is free; advance registration with the organiser is required.
