How do I get to the festival?

TARMAC Festival takes place at Allstedt Airfield (coordinates: 51.389001, 11.450220). You can travel by car, bicycle or public transport. A bike luggage shuttle and a shuttle bus to the site run from Sangerhausen railway station. You can arrange lift shares in the Telegram group.

Is parking available?

Parking is available on site. Visitors are asked to share cars to make full use of vehicle capacity. Parking is free.

What is the minimum age for entry?

The festival is exclusively for adults aged 18 or over (P18). Only official photo ID is accepted as proof of age; student ID cards and health insurance cards are not accepted.

What can I bring, and what is prohibited?

You may bring your own drinks in normal quantities, but crates of drinks are not allowed at the stages. Fireworks, confetti, graffiti tags and pets are prohibited. Barbecues and open fires are banned due to the risk of forest fires. Deposit bottles and cans must be disposed of separately. A food corner serving vegan and vegetarian dishes, as well as bars, are available on site.

What happens in bad weather?

In the event of severe weather, follow the instructions of security and the festival crew. Keep clear of trees and stage structures. During a thunderstorm, cars offer the safest shelter on the campsite.

Is the site accessible?

TARMAC Festival works with the Barrieren Sprengen e.V. collective. The site has level paths, accessible sanitary facilities with wheelchair-accessible toilets and showers, a Teilhabe-Camp with electricity and a fridge for medication, as well as assistance options. Assistants and assistance dogs may be brought along with advance registration. Day tickets are available.

Are dogs allowed on site?

Pets are not permitted at the festival. Exception: assistance dogs may be brought along if registered in advance by email at teilhabe@tarmac-festival.de.

Are there pitches for motorhomes?

A camper ticket is required to take a vehicle onto the campsite. Numbers are limited. There are no electricity or water hook-ups for motorhomes. Alternatively, cars can be parked free of charge in the car park, around a five-minute walk from the campsite.
