About this festival
From 14 to 17 May 2027, Sputnik Spring Break transforms the Pouch peninsula on Lake Goitzsche near Bitterfeld into a four-day festival site. Presented by radio station MDR Sputnik, the open-air event brings together rock, pop, electro, techno and house, and is considered one of the opening events of the central German festival season. Several stages, food and drink outlets, and relaxation areas are spread across the spacious lakeside site. First confirmed act Finch reflects the festival’s cross-genre direction, with a broad musical programme aimed at a young audience.
Camping is available on the festival site and can be purchased separately in advance for 45 euros. WarmUp and PreOpening parties set the tone before the official festival start. The Pouch peninsula is located in Saxony-Anhalt and can be reached via the A9 motorway and by public transport. An extensive line-up featuring further national and international artists will be announced gradually.

Questions & answers
How do I get to the festival site?
PKW (car): Take the A9 to the Halle/Bitterfeld exit, then follow the B100 towards Bitterfeld. From Mühlbeck, the route to the festival site is signposted. By train: Travel to Bitterfeld station, where a free shuttle bus runs to the festival site.
How much does parking cost?
A one-off charge applies per vehicle. Parking costs €40 for PKW and €60 for motorhomes, caravans and PKW with trailers. The car park may only be used with a valid festival ticket.
What is the minimum age for entry?
Visitors aged 16 or over may attend the festival when accompanied by an adult and with a parental authorisation form appointing the accompanying adult as supervisor, completed by their parents. Entry is not permitted for anyone under 16.
Will there be tickets available at the gate?
The festival has regularly sold out in recent years. It is very likely that there will be no tickets available at the gate in 2027 either. Visitors should only travel with a valid ticket.
How do payments work on the festival site?
The festival is entirely cashless, using a cashless payment system. Your festival wristband includes a chip for making payments. Credit can be added in advance via the online shop or on site at top-up machines using cash, EC- or credit card. The parking fee at the entrance must be paid in cash.
What am I allowed to bring?
Glass bottles are prohibited throughout the site. Food and drinks may be brought onto the campsite, but not into the festival site itself. Barbecuing with a charcoal grill is permitted under supervision. For safety reasons, gas camping stoves with gas cartridges are strongly discouraged. Loose gas cylinders and open fires are prohibited.
What should I do during a thunderstorm?
Secure tents and gazebos while setting up. Stay calm during a thunderstorm and follow the instructions of the organiser and security staff. Seek shelter in a car or a permanent building with a lightning conductor. Keep away from tall objects such as trees, masts, towers and metal structures. Avoid large puddles.
Can I arrive in a motorhome?
Motorhomes and caravans weighing up to 4.6 tonnes are permitted. However, there is no dedicated electricity supply or water connection. Parking costs €60.
