About this festival
Solar Weekend Festival 2026 takes place from 30 July to 2 August at the Maasplassen in Roermond. The four-day open-air festival brings together electronic music, Dutch hip-hop and pop. Yellow Claw, Qlas and Yung Felix are among the confirmed acts. The festival site features several stages and a campsite with a range of accommodation options.
The campsite offers Easy Camping, Friendzone tents and Kapi-Tent accommodation. The Maasplassen in Limburg provide an expansive natural festival setting with access to the water. Camping
Solar Weekend offers several camping options: Easy Camping from €20 per night, Friendzone from €220, and Kapi-Tent from €500. The camping area is open throughout the festival weekend and includes sanitary facilities and a beach area.
Questions & answers
How do I get to the festival?
On Thursday and Friday, use the camping entrance; it is around a 45-minute walk from the station. On Saturday and Sunday, use the festival entrance, which is about a 30-minute walk from the station. Organised coach trips are also available.
How old do I need to be to get in?
Solar Weekend 2026 is an 18-or-over event.
How do I pay on site?
The festival site is cashless: pay directly with your own bank card or phone. Card terminals are available at the bars; a Cashcard costs €3 and can hold up to €150 in credit.
What can I bring, and what is prohibited?

Can I leave the site during the festival?
You may leave the campsite during the festival. However, you may not bring any purchases back onto the campsite.
