About this festival
Solar Weekend returns to the Maasplassen in Roermond from 29 July to 1 August 2027, spanning four festival days. One of the Netherlands’ established festivals, the open-air event combines several stages with camping right by the water. Electronic music is the focus of the line-up, alongside other genres. The site on the shores of the Maasplassen is one of the region’s well-known festival locations.
Camping is an integral part of the event: the four-day Early Bird ticket costs €100 and explicitly includes access to the campsite. Further ticket types will follow later in the pre-sale. The official website provides information on tickets and the programme; a named line-up for 2027 has not yet been announced.

Questions & answers
What can I bring, and what is prohibited?
You may bring a small amount of your own food and drinks onto the campsite, but any shopping bought during the festival cannot be taken back onto the site. For safety reasons, glass, propane aerosol cans, fireworks and umbrellas are prohibited, as are gas burners and delivered food such as pizza or chips.
Can I leave the site during the festival?
Leaving the festival site is not permitted on the festival days (Saturday and Sunday). Anyone who leaves the site will not be allowed back in.
Are dogs allowed on site?
Pets are prohibited from the camping and festival sites.
