About this festival

Soenda Indoor 2026 turns Utrecht’s Werkspoorkathedraal into a one-day indoor electronic music festival on 21 November. The former industrial cathedral, with its high steel ceilings and concrete walls, provides the setting for a programme of techno, house and trance. Eight acts have been confirmed: Benwal, Faster Horses & Lammer, Malugi, Olympe4000 & Thelma, Saidah and Schwesta P. The festival runs from 13:30 to 23:00 and is aimed at an adult audience.

Located in the Zuilen district, the Werkspoorkathedraal is one of the Netherlands’ largest industrial event venues, with space for thousands of visitors across several levels. The event is organised by Elevation Events, which has many years of festival experience with Soenda. Tickets are available in several phases, with prices starting at €58.90.

Utrecht is conveniently located in the centre of the Netherlands and is easily reached by public transport. The venue on Tractieweg has designated parking areas.

Questions & answers

How do I get to the festival?

On the day of the event, a shuttle bus runs between Utrecht Centraal and the festival site every few minutes from 13:00 until around 24:00. The stop at the main station is at Jaarbeursplein; in the evening, follow the “pendelbus” signs at the site. A return ticket costs €8 online (plus booking fee) or €10 on the bus; a one-way ticket for the return journey costs €5. Card payments with PIN only are accepted on the bus. If travelling by car, use Gietijzerstraat in Utrecht as your navigation address; on foot or by bike, use Tractieweg 41.

Is parking available?

Parking at the festival site is free, but spaces are limited. The organisers recommend travelling by train, bus or bicycle. Drivers should navigate to Gietijzerstraat in Utrecht, then follow the signs and traffic stewards’ instructions. Those arriving by bicycle, scooter or moped should navigate to Tractieweg 41 and follow the “Fietsenstalling” signs and traffic stewards’ instructions. Bicycle parking is free.

How old do I need to be to get in?

The minimum age for Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal is 18. ID may be checked on entry; anyone unable to show it will not be admitted.

How can I pay on site?

Only PIN card payments are accepted on site; cash is not accepted. Drinks and food are available in exchange for tokens, which can be purchased from on-site tills and vending machines. PIN card payment is also the only payment method accepted on the shuttle bus.

What can I bring, and what is prohibited?

Items not permitted include glass, plastic bottles, water pouches, cans, fireworks, nitrous oxide cartridges, aerosol cans, drones, umbrellas, selfie sticks, drugs, weapons, outside food and drink, and animals – except assistance dogs. Small bags are permitted, while large bags are discouraged. Medication may be brought in provided you have a medical passport and declare it on entry.

Is the site accessible?

The Werkspoorkathedraal venue building is accessible to all guests, including a widened entrance and a wheelchair-accessible toilet. There are no raised platforms at the stages. The first aid station can also be used to express breast milk. For accessibility enquiries, contact the team at toegankelijkheid@elevation-events.com.

Can I leave the site during the festival?

Re-entry is not possible once you have left the site. If you leave the festival early, you can only get back in with a new ticket that has not yet been scanned.

Are dogs allowed on site?

Pets are not permitted on site. The only exception is assistance dogs, although bringing them is not recommended; the organiser can answer any questions at info@elevation-events.com.

How long are the site and entry open?

The site is open on Saturday, 21 November, from 13:30 to 23:00. Entry is possible from 13:30 to 20:00, after which the entrance closes.

Are lockers available?

Yes, lockers are available to hire and can be opened and closed as often as you like. They can be hired online in advance or on site at the locker desk. If booked online, the locker number and PIN will be sent by email from 19:00 on the day before.

How does the reusable cup system work?

All drinks are served in reusable cups or PET bottles. You pay 0.5 tokens for your first cup, and empty cups can be exchanged free of charge at the bar when you order your next drink. Hand in your cup and receive a cup token.
