About this festival
From 5 to 10 April 2027, the Austrian ski resort of Mayrhofen in the Zillertal will host Snowbombing. The six-day festival combines electronic music, winter sports and après-ski in the Alps at altitudes of over 2,000 metres. The festival takes place across several venues in the resort and ski area, including the legendary Forest Stage in the Penkenwald. The musical programme spans house, techno and electronic sounds.
Bicep Live and Fatboy Slim have been confirmed as the first headliners for the 2027 edition, both set to deliver exhilarating live shows in an alpine setting. They are joined by British house DJ Rossi., with further acts to be announced at a later date. Snowbombing has established itself as Europe’s leading mountain-music festival and, alongside its music programme, offers ski passes, après-ski events and a varied supporting programme. Accommodation is available in hotels, apartments and chalets in the resort. Tickets and package deals are available via the official festival website.

Questions & answers
How do I get to the festival?
Travel via Innsbruck, Munich or Salzburg airports. Snowbombing offers official airport transfers and coach travel from selected UK cities. In town, a ski bus runs every 30 minutes during the day, with a Night Shuttle covering the same route at night.
Is parking available?
Parking is limited throughout the village. Some hotels offer parking, with availability and charges varying; we recommend checking directly with your accommodation.
How old do I have to be to get in?
The festival is strictly for ages 18 and over. Under-18s will not be admitted, regardless of whether they are accompanied. A valid photo ID is required at the entrance to verify your age.
How do I pay on site?
Snowbombing is largely cashless. Your RFID wristband is used for payment and can be topped up online, with cash at the Europahaus box office, or by card at the top-up stations. Some mountain venues and non-accredited bars do not accept the cashless system, so you will need cash or a card instead.
What can I bring, and what is prohibited?
You may not bring your own food or drinks, including glass bottles, into the venues. Personal cameras and mobile phones are allowed for private use, but professional cameras, tripods and video equipment are not. Smoking is permitted only in designated smoking areas.
Is the site accessible?
The festival site is generally suitable for people with reduced mobility. Visitors with specific access requirements are asked to contact customer service by email in advance to clarify their individual needs.
