About this festival
Braga once again becomes a stage for electronic music and digital art at the end of October. Semibreve Festival takes place from 22 to 25 October 2026 across several venues in the northern Portuguese city, including Basilika dos Congregados, Theatro Circo, the local conservatoire and university spaces. Concerts, sound installations, films and talks unfold over four days, bringing together club music and experimental sound.
The musical programme includes performances by Azu Tiwaline, Dawn Dani, Fennesz & Oscar Jockel, Noémi Büchi, Peder Mannerfelt, System Sophie, Flora Yin-Wong and further artists. The festival also presents installations and video works in museums and sacred spaces. Since 2011, the event has brought international figures from the electronic avant-garde to Braga, working closely with local cultural institutions.

Can I enter the Theatro Circo after a performance has started?
Once a performance has begun, entry to the Theatro Circo auditorium is not permitted.
Do I need to exchange my ticket for a wristband?
No. Printed or digital tickets grant access to the relevant venues.
Are talks and exhibitions free?
Talks are free, subject to limited capacity. Exhibitions at gnration are free, but a ticket is required during performance times.
