Ruhr-in-Love 2027 takes place at OlgaPark Oberhausen on 3 July 2027. The one-day electronic music festival runs from 12pm to 10pm, with its programme spread across numerous stages throughout the park. Ruhr-in-Love is aimed at visitors who want to experience many different DJs and stages in one day. OlgaPark is the festival’s central venue, shaping it as an open-air summer event. How do I get to the festival?
Your admission ticket also serves as a free VRR KombiTicket for buses, trams and 2nd-class RE-, RB- and S-Bahn services throughout the VRR area, valid from 3 to 4 July 2027.
Travelling by train, head to Oberhausen Hauptbahnhof, where shuttle buses run to OLGA-Park. By car, take the A42 and exit at Oberhausen Zentrum, then follow the Ruhr-in-Love signs. Official parking is available at Westfield Centro.
Is parking available?
Official parking for Ruhr-in-Love is available exclusively at Westfield Centro. From there, a short signposted walk leads to the festival site in OLGA-Park. Dropping off visitors on Bottroper Straße or Vestischen Straße is not permitted.
How old do I have to be to get in?
Entry to Ruhr-in-Love is permitted for those aged 16 or over. Younger visitors will not be admitted.
How do I pay on site?
Ruhr-in-Love uses a cashless system. All payments on site are made with a cashless wristband, which can be topped up in advance or at the TopUp stations on site. Any unused credit can be refunded after the event.
Can I leave the site during the event?
Re-entry is available for a €5 fee, charged to your cashless wristband. The option can be booked online via the event portal or on site at the TopUp points and day box offices. Once activated, you may leave and re-enter the site multiple times.
